It’s estimated 7 out of 10 Australians are paying too much for household bills and we know costs are being passed on through higher premiums and prices to cover ‘secret’ commissions being paid to commercial comparison websites.

Evidence to various inquiries has revealed commissions of up to 60% are being paid and commercial comparison websites do not have to disclose it. The ACCC has recommended mandatory reporting and together, through “The Great Australian Rip Off” campaign, we want action taken to protect your hip pocket.

Joining the campaign is an important step and we want politicians and candidates to see and hear your stories to understand exactly why cost-of-living matters and these ‘secret’ commissions that are driving up bills must be an election issue.

Your story is powerful. They need your vote at the Federal Election.

We’re asking you to share your story and send us a photo that we can upload to the website and post to our social media to show why cost-of-living is an issue for you when you go to the ballot box.

We appreciate your support.

Stop ‘secret’ commissions pushing up your cost of living

Sick and tired of high insurance, electricity, and household bills?

‘Secret’ commissions of up to 60 per cent paid to brokers, commercial comparison websites, and other third-parties to get your business, are one of the reasons why you are paying more.

Politicians know it. The industry knows it AND the consumer watchdog, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), has recommended regulatory change.

    But nothing has been done.

Make it an election issue. JOIN THE CAMPAIGN to tell politicians you want to #StopTheRipOff.
